hold on Bob772420, it only worked once? every time i've tried that method it works perfectly. i do mine slightly different though. i use bottled water, poor out or drink 3/4 of the bottle(i think it really doesn't matter), put the seeds in, put in a dark place(one of my closets), and just wait on them to crack. might take 1/2 a day might take 4 days just wait until they crack, patience my friend patience. oh, make sure the water is room temp or warm. i have a 100% germination rate doing this. oh, give the bottle a swirl after the first day so, the seeds sink. it's has to be the easiest way, just put them in and wait, it'll happen. Good Luck:blsmoke:
alright ill give it a try ill put them in a 1/4 full bottle of water (should the cap be on or off or does it not matter?) and just put it in my closet and check them every 12 hours so just swirl the bottle around to get them to sink?

thanks heres another question when the root does come out of the seed is it best to put the seed in the ground with the root facing up,down,or the side? ive gotten many differentnt answers to that question

i had thought of the same question to. then, once i planted the seedlings i could never plant them just right, but, they came up anyway. so, the answer to your question would be it doesn't matter. i think they're smart enough to know which way to grow.

yuuuuup, it'll work. i usually put my mid seeds in a bag of dirt, moisten and put up,. as the heads start to pop i transplant into rockwool if i'm goin hydro, or into its very own grow bag if dirt. germination is a simple process, don't over think it.

me personally, i like to keep the cap on it keeps the heat in. yup thats it. let me know how it works out, pretty easy though.
