These are on my plants but they are not making webs and they seem concentrated on one or 2 leaves. I got a hotshot in the tent but it isnt helping. All the images I have seen of mites have two spots on their back... these are black.

Things are kept clean... I got these when I added a store bought plant to my grow (catnip from lowes). I figured it would keep kitty from munching the other plants but it just gave me mites now i cant get rid of em.

I have tried neem oil, hot shot pest strip, SNS-217, rosemary oil, spinosad, and predator mites.... nothing works I doubt mighty wash will work as it is just frequency adjusted water (whatever that is). I have been reading some good things about Forbid 4F but to get some you have to spend $200+ and you get enough to treat like 100 acres. Seems the only thing that works are man made chemicals :-(

If you can't get rid of them by any other means try Avid. I bought a small bottle of that 8-10 years ago and still have it, it's spendy I think I paid about $180 for a very small bottle, but it works, period. I tried a bunch of stuff and finally went to the avid and it kicks their ass. don't ever use it once the plants are blooming! it is nuclear! not even close to organic! Once you've battled them it's pretty easy to spot them early, I go straight to the avid and nip it in the bud.

Make sure to saturate the underside of the leaves, every leaf, top and bottom but the bottom side is where they usually are so focus on spraying the undersides.

Avid works. I have a cheap skate friend that asks me to mix some up when he gets mites.. usually one spray does the trick but I always follow it up every couple days for a week.

wear gloves, a mask, glasses, long sleeves, try not to get it on you or breath in the fumes... I wear a respirator and bundle up.

seems like there is a consensus on the mighty wash... I just hate throwing away 20$ on this product 30$ on that and they dont work... I would spend the 200$ and just be done with it if I knew it would work.

Yes, spider mites have two dots. It appears that what you have are the ultra rare Wild African Spider Fleas. I wasn't aware they even existed anymore. I heard a few years ago they had been comletely erradicated by some rare virus that only affected them. They never did find out where the virus came from. You are either blessed, or cursed, my friend. On the one hand, such a discovery would be huge news and you would probably win some kind of Green Earth Globe Prize for bringing back a Spider family thought extinct. On the other hand, they are some nasty Mother Fu*kers and you will be lucky to make it out of your place alive if you stay for another week. Nothing, I mean NOTHING kills those evil bastards (part of why they would be such an epic find). They multiply like mad (think Apostolic Lutherans) and seek warm blooded mammals. They have a nasty venom (think Brown Recluse, a.k.a. "Fiddleback")

You need to immediately, 1. Call you local CDC, Health Dept, or Law Enforcement. Or 2. Grab what you can (nothing wihtin a 10 foot diameter of those things) and set your place on fire. Just sayin....
