An EC meter can be had for like $10-$15 that will be good enough for your purposes.Thanks for the response brother . May have missed a post or just confused with so many mixed responses . But I will look into these meters . What reading would be ideal to see in the run off after its flushed a few times to know it's good to go ?
EC runoff is correlated to EC inflow. The first step is finding out what EC the feed you've been giving to it and what the runoff EC that is coming out.
Once you get those numbers, correcting it will be very easy. You don't want to flush with 0EC water as that creates osmotic stress and you want to avoid doing that during flower.
Generally, during flower in coco, you should be around 1.3-1.7 EC or so.
