I definitely understand where you're coming from. Its a shame that we are labeled drug dealers (those of us who sell) but at the end of the day, we are. And maybe I'm a little biased and I'm sure its affecting my viewpoint, but personally I've learned that labels really don't mean shit. I've been labeled everything from "needle junkie" to "senior class president" and "most likely to succeed". And honestly, I'm not any of those things any more as much as I was back then, even tho I no longer use. I decided that a little girl who called me daddy was more important than the reasons I had for doing what I did at the time. If I would have let a label define me back then, who knows where I would be, or my family for that matter.
But, labels aside upholding an image is important, and selling weed will get you labeled quick, so again, I definitely see where you're coning from. But there are (smart) ways around having too many people know, or even just being able to trust the ones that do.
Exact same thing in my neck of the woods. As long as there aren't seeds, even if its seedless mids it goes for 20 a g, 120 a quarter (if they aren't gramming it). Ounces can start at 300-320 (usually only if you get a quap or so) and if its good people will pay 500 bucks an ounce, white collars 7 grand a pound.
I'm already fucked if I get caught growing it, so for me its not really a question of "if I'm gonna sell it". The question was "am I gonna take the risk to grow". Selling it is just implicit if you're growing around here.
