What do you think of this?

Hey guys just had a fellow caregiver stop by and he had just been visited by the local police. We will call him jay. Jay was a caregiver for Jessica. The police had just visited jessicas house 20 mins prior and said she was growing her plants as well as a few to many. They in turn went to jays house, came in, saw he had 7 freshly rooted clones. Now the problem is, his patient had designated him her caregiver and decided to grow her own after words and didn't let the caregiver know. Long story short the police didn't issue any violations but took all the plants involved. They said they were tired of getting calls and finding legit ops so they wanted to see what was up. They also asked if he had any other questions about the law. They were at his home for 10 mins and left. I told him he should have nothing to worry and that his patient was at fault 100%. regardless he is dropping that patient. Just wanted to see what you guys think about this. And no it was not me.

What county/area was this in? Have then been to his house before? What initiated the visit to "Jessica's" house?
I think it is pretty cool the cop is tired of getting calls and finding legit ops. I am just puzzled by how they got called.

This is far western u.p. The reason for visit was nosy neighbors. They called about jessicas smell and found she had a caregiver and visited him right away.

I think Jessica is at fault in this situation and should appologise to jay and give him retribution for the clones that were taken during the happenings.

He should have told em to fuck off. He had a legal right to those plants until the paperwork cleared. I am sure no warrant was issued.

Fuck the police

I guess I should add that the police had met with the local DA before they came to jessicas house and he was the one that suggested making sure they knew what was legit without arresting anybody.

problem is they have no right to INSPECT without warrant. Cool cop or not. No warrant No Inspect. Now considering the Situation at hand, it could of been far worse, but if the Pt did not send in a change of CG form, then technically, she was actually outside the scope of the act, until she received her new Pt card stating she has autorization for plant possession under the Act, and the CG was contacted by the MMMP Office to inform him of the dropped Patient. SO unless that had happened, he was technically within the parameters of the Act.

People, NOTHING in this Law, Up to Now, or until the GOVERNOR signs a new Amendment, Allows for, Designates compliance to, or Mandates ANY FORM Of Inspection WITHOUT A WARRANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even on the Good exchanges, you MUST NOT GIVE UP these Simple, yet Fundamental Rights and Liberties....

We can explain the situation to the Officers at hand, that as much as you would like to allow them to see it, and unless they have a warrant, the Law states NO ONE can have access but the CG or Assigned Pt. This include LEO without Warrants. Just explain it is illegal for you to allow without a warrant, and you will not brake the law, no matter how well intentioned. Be Reasonable, Polite, but firm. But imo, No warranted Inspections is a path to future troubles.
