that makes sense because I am looking at the leaves and I dont see any insect damage. I've had mites before in the past, and gnats, maybe even thrips but I know what to look for. Outdoors I've had caterpillars. I cant by eye see this damage so perhaps it is like your saying broken trichs that i see because of the flash?
