What do you use to get rid of little bugs

I have noticed a couple of webs and freaked!
Not really webs just a couple pieces os spider silk.
Well i found them and killed them but to stop them from coming back what should i use
I have heard dish soap but that just sounds crazy and i dont know how much to use.
If you could give me a brand name that way i can look for something at the store without killing my plant

Its called insecticidal soap... but thats cool i thought the same thing before i ever heard of it...
Im a bit weary of heavy pesticide use so i dont like to use lots of chems..
I am using a product called
K+NEEM i got it at a local store.. if you know of a garden or nursery store neer you you could go and ask them for a neem oil product
or just do a google on NEEM.. its a tree oil that is good on fungis and pest inscets.. i dont know much about other than its been in use for a long time and is made from a plant..

I have to agree, Neem oil works very well... if it gets too out of control there is a product called Avid - but it is alot harsher than Neem.

and the soap is not insecticial soap it is liquid dish soap. If you purchase neem oil in bulk, like 8oz is bulk, you would mix 1 tblsp neem oil, one tblsp liqiud dish soap and one gallon of water to spray on you plants. Saves money in the long run. The liquid dish soap acts as a wetting agent. VV

insect soap works best, neem oil smells really bad and isntvery affective in my opinion do what you want tho

cool thank you... i learn something new everyday...
and thats alot cheaper of a wetting agent then some of the commercial ones out there

avid works great one application and no bugs period

Hey I use Garlic water on mine, keeps all the bugs away that I have foudn out so far, I take 3 cloves of garlic, crush them and put it in HOT water to help draw out the garlic oils. I put it in a spray bottle for about 2 days and then spray. So far it works great.

A dishsoap mix is the best natural thing to get those spider mites and aphids.
Here is how I do it:
take a spray bottle, fill the bottm with dish soap (i use the orange anti-bacterial kind), fill 3/4 of the bottle with water and top the last 1/4 off with vinegar. The vinegar makes your leaves shiny and it less harsh than alcohol.
Shake gently and spray all over your plants, and make sure you get under the leaves and that is where they hide. I get the plants all wet and soapy and leave on there overnight. The next day, you will see tiny tiny black spots, these are the dead bugs. I then spray the plants down with the hose. Bugs gone.
This summer I have had to do this twice now.

the best natural fix for spider mites is ladybugs!!!

YES indeed, the really bright red ones, not the lighter almost orange ones (they sting you). A few of those on your plants and ahpid and spider mites will gone in days.

yes but introducing a predator invites other problems. i like neem and water.

Avoid any outbreak or infestation and kill em all!
