what does algae look like in a reservoir

I think I might possibly have an algae issue.

Green, slimey. Algae forms when the res. gets light inside. Be sure to check for light leaks anywhere and always paint the outside of your res. black.

Yep, green and slimy. Forms on the surfaces.

I'd empty everything and clean with bleach or something.

Like KDB said, gotta be dark in the res, water should be a bit chily, and you do use a water treatment....right?
