What does an 8th go for where you live?

in so cal, 45 seems to be fairly standard regardless of quality. 35 if you're friends. i know tons of ppl that pay 20 a gram tho. the only time i buy would be to check out a strain im thinking about growing, so thats going to be 20 a gram from a disp. but only if they actualy know where the genetics came from.

It is all about supply and demand. I would love to be able to hit up a dispensary to check out a strain or buy seeds.
Unfortunately, it is just not an option here. Sadly, one of my cousins was jailed last year for getting caught with an eighth. Granted, it was only a week or so, but it is still stupid. This was in the most liberal county in the state!

A friend of mine says he pays about $50 for an eighth but his dealer usually sells for $60 an eighth and he gets a discount as they are old friends. Seems like he is paying the average price. We are in the Midwest.

Here in Colorado, everyone knows someone who sells, so if your growing for $ here, you have a lot of competition. Top shelf weed $10 a gram. Ounces go for $225-$250. (unless it goes through a dealer first, then some will charge the naive $300 an oz.)

the uk works differently
an 8th ( henry , henry the eighth ) is 3.5 gram however you dont get 3.5 gram if you buy a henry , you get between 1.2 ( primo or a shit deal ) to 2 gram for your £20 ( call it $24 ) , some people deal in £25 where you get 2 gram sometimes less
buying a gram its around a gram ( 0.8 ) at £10 and a quarter is £60 with a half being £100 to £120 depending

20 to 30$ an eight for everything, whether it's shitty commercially grown hydroponic crap or prime quality bud. I live in a pretty poor area where the cost of living is cheap so weed is pretty cheap. Well, actually it's super freaking expensive compared to what it was 10 years ago. I say it's cheap because looking at the prices most of you guys seem to pay, well, it is.
