What I've determined from my internet friends here, on FB, and on twitter is that few Trump cultists make any sense whatsoever.
So maybe it'd be a good exercise to have a thread on what it means to make sense. Please state in your own words (and add citations if you use a source) what it means to make sense.
I'll start. Making sense means above all commenting with relevance to the topic at hand. Making sense means to reveal some kind of information or process that is verifiable and subject to both experience (empiricism) and cognition (rationality). For example, 2+2=4 makes sense because when you test it, it's always true.
When an oar is put into water, you can rationally verify that it's not bent, but only appears to be since light is refracting against the image of the oar in the water.
For inductive logic, however, making sense can be a little trickier if making sense is about verification. But all in all, making sense adds up. Not making sense doesn't.
I'm curious to hear how others define "making sense."
