what does this mean

a friend of mine is growing a sativa from some brick weed he took one bud early and it is better than any street weed around here the inside is purple if he lets it go will the out side of the bud turn purple it looks like it needs 2-3 weeks the out side jus has red hairs and is light green inside all purple the stem to the fan leaves are purple too and its pretty loud

Brick weed is Mexican sativa last time I checked

It had seed(s) in the bud, your friend grew the seed ..

Some strains have the purple genetic trait in them, others the bud purples under cold condition\weather ..

I think what he's trying to say is the brick weed was shit compared to the plant that he just grew from that seed.

Many variables can come into play as to why it's better. Most of that brick weed is mass produced and packaged without much care and nurturing that went into producing it.

Just smoke it and be glad it's the fire.
