Lol. I've had slag fall down my ear and feel and hear it hiss as it cools. I have also been welding in tennis shoes and it burn through them and get between you toes or under your foot.

Well at least THAT makes sense…I can see that comparison. My belly is neither round nor jolly. It's sassy. Speakingof belly, you were also burned on your torso?? Like @racerboy71 said, burns are so painful! Even small ones on a hand or leg hurt like a mofo. Can't imagine these poor dudes who get burns on 30% of their bodies.
