More and more of us are flying this one, until we take back control of out rouge government
To some it is non union, or supporting slavery.I don't really understand people that fly the confederate flag. Does that mean you don't support the union? Or you support slavery? Or you just think it's cool cause you're from the south? If you just think its cool cause you're from the south, thats cool I guess. But I just moved to some shitty rural town in CA, and I see people with the confederate flag, and it makes me wonder. I sure hope they are originally from the south.
holy shit! LMFAO!!Nah it was a bad attempt at humor, I googled retarded snake, to make a joke of the 'don't tread on me' flag.
Well I apologize if I offend any Navy people on this, I was not aware that they used it (just found out they did in 2002 all ships against terrorism).I know in the Navy we flew a don't read on me flag, it is the union jack.
Personal, I fly the confederate flag because I would have fought on the side of the confederacy in the war if I had lived then. I'm not for slavery but I believe the war was a turning point in the freedom of both whites and blacks. Blacks were freed from slavery but at the same time we all started down a path of less freedom for the states and as individuals ourselves. There were more reasons than slavery for the civil war. i believe the individual states freely joined into the Union so any that wanted to had every right to opt out of it if they chose. The fact is that half the country wanted out. So basically I'm a strong proponent of States Rights over those of the Federal government. The fed gov should be there to fight wars against foreign aggressors and thats about it. Not subjugate and rule over the free states. You have to remember that at that time Many if not most Americans cared more for their home state than they did for the country as a whole. You took as much or more pride in being a Virginian as they did an American. The war of northern aggression changed all that and I don't particularly like it. Slavery would have died out on it's own as new technologies came along that made it unprofitable.I don't really understand people that fly the confederate flag. I see, well thats cool I guess. But the US had tried a confederation, and it didn't work too well...it wouldnt have worked out well for the south either, which had it succeeded, would have undoubtedly began to consolidate. The civil war was more about slavery, than it was states rights, though.Personal, I fly the confederate flag because I would have fought on the side of the confederacy in the war if I had lived then. you seem to forget that SLAVERY is free labor... all the patron had to do was house the slaves... not even feed them, cuz they grew their own food... there is nothing unprofitable about slavery, it's just wrong...Personal, I fly the confederate flag because I would have fought on the side of the confederacy in the war if I had lived then. So are you trying to say its OK for slavery as long as it profitable. Never mind about morality. You can pay one guy to run a cotton picker cheaper than you can house the 100 people to pick the same amount of cotton wether they grow their own food or not. The fact that a machine can do the work makes the use of large numbers of slaves obsolete regardless of how cheap their labor is. It wouldn't have happened overnight but it would have happened. It would eventually take hundreds to do the work of one machine and that isn't gonna work. Ok, back on topic we go............
