Speaking of which... Polar Days is this weekend at CFW.. =D gunna be a nice Sunday, calm and sunny so they say. Bound to be some excitement if anyone else makes it out.. Vrrrroooooooom!

What I enjoyed about the BBQ was getting together & celebrating our luck, after harvest.
Think about it, we have to be lucky every day to grow our crops. The rippers, or cops only need to get lucky once!

That makes us some very lucky people!

Hi Gang,

Just a quick thanks for all of the support and info you shared during my first outdoor grow this past Summer. I'm two weeks into flowering my first indoor grow and have been hitting the "Indoor" threads. Looking forward to next Summer and hope to see all of you still here. I missed the crazy thread, but agree you cannot make open party invites on forums. There is ALWAYS one idiot. Wishing the best of luck in all you do.

I believe it can still be an open event, just in the proper location. And with a little preperation & forethought.

I still want to make it an open event, I just might rent that bounce house!lol!

The "Fear Factor" of an open event, added to the thrill of it!
I wish I had taken some before & after pictures. Because you wouldn't believe the difference in peoples faces, from when we arrived as strangers, to when we parted, friends! Priceless!
Except for all the 'red eyes' of course!lol!

And I don't believe all the red eyes were from the smoke either!

I could not of not said it better myself man! Happy new years to you glad to see you have found of the best site in the world a long with us. I am real happy with the support a lot of these members have given through the hardest times in life and in the grow! haha Such is life and the crazy world we live in there is always that one.

Should be headed up saturday to see hops pretty stoked gona make the best at the last three days of the year. Cant wait to talk more about it with hops and some others weres justadude and nuggs. See what there take is and some other folks. Your so right JJ about when people showed and left. To think that marijuana can bring that out in people and do that in a real life suituiton. All the living proof ya need to really grow and hang with the crowd.

DJJ it was great talking to you last night and I can't explain how disappointed I am for not making it to the last BBQ. Whatever we sort out here I will be in attendance.

You know, call me paranoid, but open invites could let in a narc. Just sayinzall. So, be careful what you let out. Especially if there is a funny van parked near by, or a "bird photographer" with a giant telephoto lens.

In the big picture LEO's is not our main concern here. It's douchebags. We are for the most part patient/growers. Hitting a BBQ like this would blow up right in the LEO's face. We are getting together and medicating. Just my opinion..

Luckily under the law being a prop215 patient I should not be fined or arrested for small amounts of personal cannabis. Anything under an oz is a misdemeanor and a $125 fine. I don't see any of up carrying more than 1 oz on us... I know it doesn't make us invincible but sure makes me feel a hell of a lot better.

Hello all-
I noticed the thread jj started, Spring Festival, is now GONE from the sticky.....

I want to put in my 2 cents here,...AGAIN....lol....about this party.

I think the Camp Far West BBQ on Dec 10th went off without a hitch because of a few things.
1) Where we were all at in our outdoor grows...post harvest. We were all interested what jj, or Wheezer, or Hodge, or him, or her, or that person was about, and what they grew. I wanted to see what they had after reading about it for months. It was like reading a good book,..... I wanted to see how these stories ended! Common, I know you all felt the same way!

2) The time of year....We had all the privacy we wanted and then some on the 10th of Dec at Camp far west. I don't think it's going to be the same April 20th-22nd. Easter is April 8th, so that shouldn't interfere, but I'm sure the lake/campground will be much busier, and who knows who will be camping next to us?

3) Expectations,....There was no "bar" set the first time. We just showed up and partied on! We had no idea what we were in for, and it turned out beautiful!

For all who attended, I'm sure we all thought of a way to improve on the 1st gathering. Maybe games, contests, maybe a roast that pig jj talked about, bring a couch, more boats,...who knows???? I'm sure we all thought of something! So lets bring these ideas together and make this event happen.
For the !st timers chime in on Where, When, Who, What, and whatever, lets party 4/20 style!!!

Medicated on that yummy bubble!....I can't find any dry ice on the mountain....so it's bubble!

I can support, semi-sponser, a gathering close to Sac. I cannot do that from a distance.
It almost seems like someone has to step-up and facilitate an event like this. I spent 2 days pror & 2 days after, getting the last one done.
I'm gonna contact CFW & find out how soon we can make reservations. I'll book every campsite on that side of the hill, on 420! Still way cheaper than renting a house.

And much less stress and risk to you! An event any bigger than about 10 people requires planning and pulling something like this off requires an event coordinator. Your work on the last one was apparent, even from a distance!

When an event becomes a "tradition", some things are fluid (call it improvement) and others remain static...hence the tradition. CFW looked beautiful. If the owners were welcoming, attendees respectful (and it seems that was the case), and it was easy for you, then maybe CFW should become part of the tradition?

Anyone who knows me truely knows I am not the cause of all of this I am soooooooo sorry I am completely devestasted that I was lied to by several of you at this point not just him!!!!!
