What happened with Cali Connection?

I remember when swerve was on icmag and I remember him always beefing with rez, then I vaguely remember a bunch of peoples gear starting to auto flower and all hell broke loose and he got the boot. Gypsy has swiped all info about swerve from the site, can't find shit about that situation but, I remember the gear and his breeding practices coming into question.

Moving on, seen his gear on the farm and the alien gear was hot but, a lot of people were still throwing shots about the recessive traits. Then next thing you know he got the boot over there.

The gear peaked my eye way back and to be honest it peaks my eye now but, I'm able to source clones so, I have no need for their lineup but, I know there's a lot of people who frequent the sites I've listed here that remember or might be able to find those threads.

I know there floating around somewhere in cyber space. Anyone, know what I'm talking about?

Don't care about your experience with their gear which I don't mind you stating just really looking for that info. It was a great read @ the time it taught me some shit about what not to do when breeding and making selections. That info is really what I'm after but, I forget exactly what happened on icmag and I don't know the story about what happened with thcfarmer.

I know about their gear and where to purchase it. It's not just drama. I know what I'm talking about. I knew about them years ago. Anyway, talking to those who know what happened on icmag or thcfarmer.

You can post your experiences but, I personally could care less. I'm talking to those who've been frequenting icmag or the farmer over the last few years and know what I'm talking about.

So, I checked their forum and found a couple threads with posts about replacements for the auto flowering issue. I know he doesn't wanna talk about it and I know 99% of the people here had now idea. I remember when it all went down and read all about it as it was going down on icmag. I know I'm not the only person here who saw what happened.

i had heard that swerve let some other people do some of his breeding work for him, and the person in ? somehow got an auto flower plant into some of the crossses.. i don't remember what strains they were exactly anymore.. he definitely got a lot of shit over it no doubt though..
and i've heard that the fall out between him and logic is what pretty much always happens to breeders over at the farm.. he got tired of not getting paid for his beans from logic.. i remember reading swerve say that logic wanted him to fly to spain and drop off a nice sized bean drop to logic, and have logic pay him for the beans after he had sold them, and swerve pretty much said bite me, and of course logic tried to paint swerve out to be the bad guy in the whole thing..

Yeah that's what I read swerve said he let an outside dude breed for him and totally fucked his strains up with some auto pollen. He had a huge right up about and said he's sorry and send him pics of the questionable beans and he would resend proper beans when he got everything worked out. He also said he wasn't gonna let anyone else to the breeding. I haven't heard anything like that lately. I think it was Larry og and can't remember the others.

Ok, now the ball is rolling. When I first saw the complaints coming in when he was on icmag I vaguely remember something about breeding with some f5 or f6 stock that lead to some recessive traits causing the auto flowering. It's been so, many dutch's and raw's ago it's hard to remember. Didn't know about him putting the mix up on someone else with auto pollen though. Good shit.

Now, logic was like he got fucked in the deal. I've heard about dude being a dick but, I know a lot of credible people with real rep over on the farm who've left icmag.

Still need some people who remember those threads to chime in. Good stuff though.

I bought CC's Raskel OG last year.....First time around 100% non germination on all 10 in the pack... contacted Swerve... got a new pack

they grew fine the first grow around 5 of 10 were female....after I cloned the bitches 3 went auto



I dont hang around on the over priced THC farmer....to much drama, hype and over priced seeds.....

Logic thinks hes god....I seen him buys seeds for $50 sold um for over a $1000....Why did OG Raskel leave the farm too and posts deleted

Damn dude, I agree with the private breeders having some kill but, you're throwing me for a loop bro. If, the gear went auto on you why would you recommend it. I'd be highly pissed and I sure wouldn't post a link to them. Confusing me dude.

I bought alot of their gear for bros.... not all of it went auto and that was old stock.....if you buy CC now its not the same shit

I have bought gear from the Tude.... Reserva Pervada's purplewreck.....it had alot of hermies.....not all but a few

This is one of the OGs that was not a auto

I have their Sour OG, came from a single seed and she was a keeper. I've had to drop a few strains from different breeders because either I sucked at growing them or they sucked period but so far this Sour OG from CC turned out to be great smoke, potent and easy to grow.

Good luck if you decide to go with CC, so far so good with this one single seed from him.

I think I remember him saying that's why he lost the f3 sfv was the breeder he was using contaminated that plant. But he said he had another somewhere else. It was the ogs with that f3 in the mix. Never tried any of there strains so I wouldn't personally know. I stick with Canadian genetics and other Cali cats for my beans and cuts.

I'm glad there's a thread about this, I been wantin to try a few of there strains but heard so much bad shit about them, granted all the bad shit was over a year ago. Hopefully some ppl who have grown there gear can clear it up.

If they've worked out the kinks I would try em, but I'm not gonna risk pollinating my whole garden.

I know WBW has grown all of there gear n is rly happy with there recent stuff. Maybe he will chime in here

Have you just tried just googleing Cali Connection the old THCfarmer threads can be found that way , and I heard the same story as Racerboy with reguards to Swerves breeding. A supposed sabatour putting a male ruderallis in to pollinate everything in the room. Swerve also seems to still be dodgeing the people he still owes refunds to from off the farm too, check out Cali Connect's official forum prople are still complaining about the refunds.

yah, this is just silly to feel this way about cali connection, they are definitely a solid company now, and their gear is straight fire.. the auto thing was pretty much a one time thing that happened well over a year or so ago, and i'm sure its all been cleaned up by now, and it was only for a couple of strains that it happened on.. i'm growing their chem 4 og and larry og atm, and have no worries about any of it going auto on me..

The issues with the farm are easy to find and his forum only has limited info. See swerve was on icmag before the farm and when shit hit the fan about the auto flowering before he went over to the farm. The story you get from the farm and from his site are partial @ best. The key to understanding everything has been deleted from icmag where it first went down. Been rocking a new handle so, my resources are limited when it comes to finding out that particular info. I remember when it went down though. It started on icmag.
