Thanks. I tried it first about 10 years ago after reading high times. I picked up some bud, took a bit of lemon zest and put it all in a jar. I left it and just opened the jar everyday after about 4 days it went moldy. So I tried again this time I added the lemon peel for two days and took it out for 2 days then added more for 2 days and continued that for about 3 cycles and it worked great. My friends loved and and swore they got higher off it too. I think that was just from curing it, not the lemon but hey what ever makes them happy. I've made my mistakes and learned from them. Flavour curing works amazing when done right just don't let it get moldy. Sonce then I've made more mistakes, but now I just leave the jar open for about 2 hours a day to deal with the extra moisture of the peel. try it on some bud you have. Just take a dime and lock it in a jar with a bit of peel and try it. It's fun to play.

When you harvest just take one stem of many, and make sure it has a good sized little bud. Cut the stem at an angle. And make sure you trim the bud before this.

Ok then just get a cup fill it with water and whatever color dye you want and put the stem with the trimmed bud into the water and let it sit for about 2 days.

After those 2 days just take it out and it should be colored and then continue with your normal drying and curing process you would normally do.

Thanks. I figured if I added dye to the water, when I flushed at the end it would just wash out. I might try it on a few buds just for fun. Why not. How was the smoke when you did this? Was it harsh? One way to find out.

i got a bag that turned out to just be dirt and i threw an apple slice in it for a little while ...... i ended up sellin from that bag and and everyone was askin me for more of my fruity pot.....but i never had colors.....besides buyin the fire

You can also buy dried fruits, pre dried, most health food stores sell them, its got me thinking, ahhhh strawberry cough to the max.

Hey we were all kids once. You've probably been doing this a hell of a lot longer than this noob. Okay so you don't need to "cheat" to get your colours to come out, but why get the kid all discouraged from trying to have some fun. So you grow killer weed, good. You should be proud. I also grow killer weed I've also grown really shit weed along the way and learned from what I fucked up. Everyone has to try things and make mistakes. Hell, I would try this just for fun to get some realy messed up colours that nature just doesn't make. What's the harm??? Might be stupid to you but that's okay. Sit back smoke your killer stash and laugh at the stupid shit people are doing. But come on just let him learn and try new things with out just bashing him down. I know it pisses people off here to see the same threads over and over or for longtime growers to see what they think are stupid questions, but the reality of it is we all have to start somewhere and we all have the same goals in mind. To one day wake up to a killer plant that is ours.

I don't know if that will work. I think that you need the moisture in the peel or fruit to enter the weed and leave itself behind. Hey try it and see what happens. Throw a strawberry in too see what happens. Should be good.

Nice, I haven't used apples before. Worked good? I use apples when I cook fish that has a strong odor like Pike (only in winter water summer pike is no good...unless you're european they like summer pike but stinks to much for me) and I just put it in the middle and throw the apples away after cooking. Helps get rid of stink.

This topic should have never been made. Fdd2blk already did this shit and everyone saw the outcome. His buds were blue and he said the smoke tasted like shit. Yeah try it. Just watch the moisture content and give it lots of breathing space if it starts to get to moist. You will notice the weed start to remoisten as it takes up the flavour.
