What happens to mj when it to hot?

It's very hot so mt grow room has hit 98F. What will that do to crop

Stunt the growth, depending on the strain some cannot withstand that kind of heat and can eventually kill em. If you can keep them going throughout the whole grow your buds at the end can be fluffy/airy and will kill your final weight. Get an exhaust fan at the top of your grow room and suck all the hot air out.

If it gets too hot like that the plants atrophy. They just stop. It is real stress for the plants. I had some hermie due to this or a possible light leak but I'm fairly sure it was heat stress.
Some strains will stress less like ones that naturally grow in hot and humid places. I'm guessing you have high RH too.
You really need to get those temps down to 85 or lower if you can. Good airflow helps if you a little above that figure.

You need an airconditioner. I just put one in myself. I found one cheap from a friend. Heats a buzz kill

Not only will it cause light airy buds and slow plant growth, But it will increase the chances of pest outbreaks.
