I think all us have been there. I knew my harvest wasn't going to be ready so instead of picking buds too early I went out and got some grade A bud. I'm not sure what kind it is but it tastes a bit like citrus and has a wicked kick to it. I've smoked my own grow too soon too many times so I did myself a favour and purchased so I'm real glad that I have this friend 'cause he always gets good bud.

trust me, i feel your pain, hell where i live in kansas, i can't get nothing at all. the last good bud i smoked was 14 months ago on a trip to texas, and it was some awesome sensi star. the last schwag i smoked was just over 2 months ago as i simply can't find anything around here. the friends i have, either they just leave me hanging or they forget to check for me, or the person they go to is out, and no one will even try to introduce me to someone further up the ladder so i could try and get a more stable connection. god, life sucks with no weed. i think back to 2 years ago, and i was smoking 24/7, and just had to make a phone call if i needed more, and to where i'm at now depressing as hell, especially since i'm not in a position money-wise where i could start my own grow. i wish you luck in finding something to hold you over till your harvest, and hope somehow i'll atleast be able to find even some schwag.. better than nothing at all.
 
what is up with all the shavings or glass in the bud? are they doing this to make it weigh? here in the states we have some shit weed. looks like dirt and leaves off the forest floor. then for anything better( which would be anything) they want to charge outrageous amounts. fuk dem i will do my own.

Morp, I am feeling your pain and am EXACTLY the same position as you having smoked my first harvest and am about 3 weeks away from my current grow being ready......I'm now going through the trim that I was saving for hash! :cry: Found a couple of random small buds that obviously didn't seem so important to me when I was trimming my big fat colas....but how things change!!

I also got some weed that has exactly the same shit as yours all over it, not quite so bad, but it's def tainted with the same shit. I just can't smoke it. It tastes like shit and crackles when it burns. It's weird, no idea what it is, but I do know that it's so so wrong and should not be smoked!

I've just got to hang in there for 3 more weeks till my girls are finished and all will be ok again. :joint:

The only good thing about all this shite contaminated weed in the UK at the moment, is that it is what prompted me to start growing my own shit earlier this year. And growing my own weed is one of the best, most satisfying things I have ever done! :mrgreen:
 
i hear that snowwhite! ive got a couple of weeks left for ths grow, and am itching to cut off some bud to smoke. i feel ive gone this far though so another 2 weeks wont kill me..

ive decided my next op will be to have 3 harvests in 6 months. first wont be so big, im hopin for around 4 oz minimum, second should be around 6 oz, and third will be biggest, depending on the lights i use. hopefully thisll allow me enough good bud to smoke until april, when im takin my van and gettin out of this godforsaken, rotten bud of a country!

Well here's to waiting! :joint: 2 weeks will be up in no time.

I've already got a couple of clones that are 10 days flowering at the edge of my flowering room as well. When my big girls are done in 2-3 weeks, the clones will get moved right under the light. Then these should be done in just a couple of months after I harvest the first lot. I've also got some Hashberry's which are ready for flowering and are filling up my veg cupboard. Plus a couple more clones and mothers vegging as well. To be honest, I've got a few too many plants going on at the moment and it's quite a bit of work, but I'm determined never to run out of my own weed again. I just need to get things optimised for the growing spaces I have and I think I could get a pretty good efficient cycle going. That's what I'm working towards anyway.

Of course if I smoked a lot less weed it would be a lot easier, but that's not my strategy here! ;)
 
i saw a program saying that vietnamese are running the show in england, there renting whole houses, stealing electric, there about 10 to 20 men living in a room in there rented houses, there growing and growing, just for profit, and they grow some rite shit, and keep all the good stuff for themselfs. its also like that with other immigrants?, there spliffs always smell ok, better than i can get. we let them live here ,pay, there fucking rent and then get fuck again, when we buy the shit off them. thats whats wrong with uk.the gov. ant got a clue
a car was driving down the road, near were one of my live, the car was driving and the road claspted under the car, the car went into the hole and there were 100s of plants, they had dug a hole from a cellar and dug under a fucking road and the were stealing ece from the sourse.
c heeky fuckers were do they think they are, fucking vietname. digging holes.

almost all grow op busts at the moment seem to be these large scale 'vietnamese gangs' renting and growing out whole houses. ive also heard its these chaps who are churning out the shit tarnished weed. all theyre doing is encouraging smokers across the uk to grow their own, while burning down and getting busted at the same time. hopefully the shit craze will die down and in its wake lots of homegrown sticky buds will run rampant.

ps. a house near me got busted a while back for having half a million pounds worth (or some probably exaggerated figure) of pot growing. the vietnamese residents got booted out and locked away, now theres a load of biobizz allmix bags sittin around in the yard which the porkies had left behind...

its of little consolation for farmers lung though..

ive got nothin against vietnamese, or any other ese comin over here to live and farm pot. its just the shit weed that has flooded the streets that gets me. if the government pulled its head out of its ass and acknowledged the problem, proposing a hefty fine/sentance on 'corrupters of the herb' over producers of normal buds, then the problem would all but disappear.

they provide sterilised hypodermic needles for junkies, and condoms for dickheads, so why not clean buds for the thinkers?

im not saying i condone fucking up buds in any way, i hate it all. but the government has to acknowledge the problem (about 2 years old now), and introduce measures to stamp it out once and for all before we all die of blue tongue or whatever we're gonna contract. if the viets, or anyone else, were comin over and growing nice plump buds then id welcome them with open arms
