What in the heck did I see?

The local news showed a pic of a commercial warehouse looking grow operation preparing for I-502 here in Wash I would guess. What caught my eye were these vertical grow lights,, yes vertical and about the size off telephone poles!!!...they had them mounted at each corner of each section. Didn't really look for any ceiling mounted lights since I got fixated on those vertical monsters...weird!!

Where is this video at I've been looking but can't find it. Was it komonews or something

not sure as I don't have a clue about vertical growing. They had the growing area warehouse divided in sections. Its hard to say but the sections appeared to be about 20 ft wide and 40 ft long with the lights vertical mounted on the corners. I bet they push a lot of light through the lower leaves...I wonder if that is the point? It was on one of the Spokane area channels.

Yes the point is to grow big heavy plants, with large side growth. eg

ya, crazy that they are renting out warehouse for large grows in washington. awesome though
