Omg thanks so much I've literally been searching for like hours and hours. So if I'm right I have 3 going on 4 nodes?

consider it the first set of 3 blade leaves....... cotyledon..... sing blade..... triple blade money money. most people don't count the single blade as the first true node. we just strip those off. makes for a healthier more established plant

the single blade leaf is not a very strong place to start building off of so we go up 1 and call that the first node

no I would leave it on until your plant is a bit older then strip it off I would wait until you have about 5 nodes then top it above the 2nd true 3 blade node then once it responds to that I would remove the single blades and any branchthat is coming from there

I would probably let it grow a couple more sets of leaves. sounds like cotyledon, single ,triple, triple and then 1 5 blade so not counting the cotys or single blade you have 3 nodes.... you can really top whenever you want to these plants can handle a good amount of abuse

Alright thanks I'm gonna top after the 4th. Which should be one more fan set of 5. I should post more pictures when I top

just to be clear I let them grow 5 nodes but then top them back down to 2 nodes I cut off # 3,4 and 5. goves you 4 nice main branches to work with

Yeah. I have a really funny setup actually. It's a giant container about 4 ft tall. And has lights hanging down in over the plants 3 120watts. And a nice built in fan to it. And the lights are adjustable up and down. I have a setup for for more plants. Hoping to start growing bigger. After I experience this grow.

all I veg in is a kitchen base cabinet with a couple of 26w cfls in it some reflective bubble insulation and it works great..... I do put them nder a 400w to veg for 2 weeks before flower but it keeps them alive and growing until the space opens up under the hid

Yea there cfls. I still am kinda shady on topping. I don't wanna do it wrong. But it needs to be done haha. Also I'm trying to keep it shorter kinda, because I only have so much room.

topping is simple just remember to have nodes below where you top and all will be good everything below where you top will live everything above will die unless you use it for a clone or something. figure on only having 3 ft of room you need overhead you know. and I would also top a second time..... top above the 2nd true node then you will get 2 branches from each of those nodes then when those branches grow a few nodes top them above their first nodes. should give you 8 nice growth shoots, that way you get a wider plant that will streach less in flower and I would suggest switching to 12/12 around 1 ft. tall
