What is a good seed strain to start with?

What is a good seed strain to start out with? It will basically be my second grow. I'll be growing in soil and indoors. I was told northern lights was the way to go, but I figured I'd get a few more opinions.

Also some links to a few good seed banks that have the strain you suggest would be much appreciated(not entirely necessary though) ty ty =)

i was also gonna suggest the northern lights myself.. you can get it from the attitude seed bank.. or sannies seeds has some nice strains too and fairly cheaply priced... the killing fields and herijuana look great.. i just ordered the heri but haven't got it yet..

have you decided you dont want an autoflower strain or are you still open to using them?

I'm open to any suggestion lol. I'd still grow an autoflowering strain.

that auto was a great suggestion.. i don't know why i always forget about them.. they are making some really nice auto's now.. and they even have a few fem autos too.. i am interested in the auto diesel, and i even think that it was on hightimes top ten strains for 09, take that for whatever its worth, lol.. but it does sound like a nice strain..
autos are a great way to get your feet wet growing, and you will learn alot about plants if you don't already know too much, and they aren't as much work as say a regular non auto strain.. you don't have to worry about switching the lamps to 12/12 or anything like that.. i am not sure if sannies has an autos, but i know that the attitude has a whole auto section... and i also know that there is an auto thread on here that you could check out and get some ideas from other peoples, and see what others are growing and what looks and sounds good to you

Early girl is a good starters strain..

Honestly, try to grow out some bagseed and gain experience. You wont get as mad when you screw it up compared if you spent good $$ on seeds. If you are dead set on buying seeds, try NL, WW, AK-47, PPP. Just look on the seed sites and read about them and how easy they are to grow. That should help you out.

Never go wrong with Widow. Tho Nirvanas Blue Mystic was a very easy one also..
