Hey there, i have a small plant(about 2 weeks old) its currently 2in. Tall and i have it outdoors. I've only been feeding with pH water at 6.0 and idk why theres tiny spots on some of the leaves. Also there is a couple of black spots but they dont seem to move at all.

Should he spray for mites? The other leaf shows something going too. MoB, do you know what mites look like? Can you take a close up of the underside of that leaf?

Perhaps bring your ph up to 6.5 and see what happens. That may be a bit a the low side. Any chance of overwatering a touch?

I would look for bugs.
Sounds like a thrip problem something I'm going thru right now. I don't think it has anything to do with the ph. I'm sure if you look at the leaves tapping it you'll see movement on it from those little critters.

Thrips are a tiny little flea like bug that suck the water out of leaves and can potentially kill your plant if they get out of control. I use the HOT SHOT NO PEST STRIP and it works like a charm. It will kill thrips and spider-mites. Depending on the size of your growing area is how many you will need. And keep in mind thrips attack the plant at all stages, clone/seedling, veg, flower.

Do you think neem oil will do the trick?

It does say neem oil does the trick so yeah use it as directed. I'm using a insecticidal soap spray from home depot sprayed once and haven't seen them again but its only been a couple days. They say to treat 1x a week

spray it with a very mild solution of water with Dove or Dawn dishsoap... or hemp-oil soap if you can get it... can't hurt! Just don't put it under the lights til dry! ;)

neem oil is bullshit... it will burn the shit outta yours leaves.. esp in outdoor grows.... if u got spider mites takes ur plants outta ur room bomb ur room.. then clean it well and keep it clean buy a miteicide spray.. don't fuck around mites are hard to shake...

Don't have mites I had thrips. But if I did have mites yeah I would do what I have to to get rid of them. From what I see they are nothing to mess with.
