That's too undetermined...you might be off by 5 days...and it's a time consumer...I prefer from the day I stat tricking them (go from full sun or 18 & 6 to 12 & 12)

Pistils are the white hairs you see on your plant when it is showing sex, and no I have not asked this before. thanks for the reply.

I hope I get a reply from someone who really knows the answer. The reason I want to know is because they say 50-60 days of flowering for this strain or 55-65 for a different strain...so I would like to know when to begin counting the days!!!
Counting how long it takes for a certain strain to give you what you want needs to be calculated in reverse.
Take the peak harvest time (in your opinion) and count how long it took for your plant to get there with the conditions in which it was grown

Are the pistols the parts of the plant that come in twos usually located opposite each other and horizontaly located between nodes ? School me please :)

I considered my first day of flowering the day I changed the cycle. Looking forward to some replies.

Didnt you ask this question before without a response ?
I've been growing in a 5 gallon bucket on my patio as soon as I see a pretty good amount of pistols I start bringing her in my closet at 7 pm and put her out at 7 am. And I count back one week so when she starts the 12 and 12 she's been flowering one week prior so that makes her 2 weeks into flower I do this for about 6 weeks then I flush a week. Then no water for three days before harvest. Then I pull her up hang her upside down in the closet for 5-6 days and she's usually good. Been doing this for the 3 Rd summer and it's been great for me. Hope this helps. But I know there is alot more experienced than me out there lol but this has seriously been working for me
