Ive had a 6ft sativa in pot since may 5th, and it has jus started to flower sept.17th. what is going on? I'm in IN and it gets down to 40 degrees at night. will i get anything or am i shit out of luck?
Agreed. She won't finish before winter comes. If for some reason you can't bring her indoors, at least try to find something to cover her with, will help hold in the heat and help her resist freezing.Bring the pot indoors and let it finish there.
Plastic sheeting would work well, with that and some long dowel rods maybe, you could construct a kind of tent over her. That would keep out the worst of the cold for now. Wal-Mart has some in the isle with the window treatments, a two pack of clear plastic for eight bucks, the sheets are 10'x15' - you could try those. Also a layer of straw around her pot would help hold in heat as well.i put a big layer of mulch on soil in the pot. Do i cover the whole plant? Any ideas on what to use to do that? Also any other ideas you have to keep it warm and growing. i can't bring it inside, which sucks. This thing has been weird all year. i started by seed in early may from bagseed. it stayed about 3 inches tall till mid june and now it's over 6ft,lol. I know sativas start late, but my buddy has some and they are about 1 month if not less away from harvest. This was my first grow and i already got my indicas, they did real well. just wanting this to mature cause it was my biggest by far. Any ideas or comments will be appreciated! Thank you!
