Depending on what your looking for you can spend thousands on it or a few hundred

in soil you prob talking about 4x600w lights or 3x1000w, intake fan, out take, fan carbon filter, plant pots, soil, nutes, all in the uk i could be done for about £300-350 so about $500

If you have to ask, then this hobby may be a bit to expensive for u! Lol

This hobby is not cheap. You will constantly be dropping money. If you buy "cheap" equipment and amendments, you will regret it as you will be spending more $$$ in the long run to replace all of the junk.

To start up that kind of setup? Depends on what you are truely trying a accomplish, but to be sure that you have everything u need, i would say at least $2000 to start. Ex. Room, equipment, nutes, soil, and GENETICS

Besides the lights, fans, nutes, soil, etc. you must also think the the small incidentals, such as spray bottles, pesticides, support sticks, ties, water jugs, etc. I was surprised how fast all the little stuff added up. You can go cheap or even skip some small things but you will eventually pay for it by lack of quality and small yields. GL.

Figure how many watts per plant. The little things are dirt cheap except pesticides. Buy wholesale and plan for the med-long term and all of the nutrients and essentials are cheaper. I'm wondering how much you pay after startup, for a continual 12 plant cycle. I read somewhere that the lights don't push out what they're rated at and hit more like 80%. So if someone knows the right figures that'd be nice to know. Not really a newcomer at this stuff, but this hobby is of connoisseurs which plots cost/quality more precisely than normal.

water alone is $.01/2Gal. 500W+ solar systems are <$200 on eBay brand new + a few accessories.
Hit me with the proper nutrients suppliers (wholesale/bulk)
any broke down figures are what I'm looking for: cost per plant, nutrients/plant, watts/plant, seeds/US distributors specials/exceptionals, pesticides i doubt ill need help with since those depend on location but plz post them if they're in your WELL ORGANIZED list, anything else?

Call your electric company and get your kilowatt hour rate. Prices vary around the world like... I read a post on here before from an American who had a $.09 kw/h rate. I pay £.15 kw/h ($0.25).

Once you have a price on your power, you can atleast work out what each crop will cost you on that department.
