Will it really hurt the roots?not that i have ever witnessed.

i have rooted clones in a clear glass of water before and them roots grew no problem cant say ive ever grown in clear cups but if damage were to occure i think it would show up while they were developing on that clone

,its been two and a half days scence i cut them so now i have been takeing the domes off them for like hours at a time when i do, i leave them on over night though.
