What is the best strain for growing outside in the southeast

Been checking out a few sites for an outdoor grow already next summer. Problem is around here in the Southeast there has been constant rain this summer and high humidity. I'm afraid the buds will rot in September/October because of the high humidity. I want to veg my females inside then move them outside in June so they will have a good 2 more months of veg. What is the best strain, best bang for the buck? Also, we have alot of deer around. I hear they love to eat weed. How do I keep them away from my crop?
Any advice, commments would be appreciated.

Jamaica's humid as hell too. Don't sweat it.

On June 21st they will begin to flower because the days are getting shorter.

I think you can take your pick. You live in one of the most fertile places on earth.

Thanks for all the great advice. Got my spot picked out. Not too close and not too far from home, secure and got enough area for one big ass grow. I will have all my plants vegging inside, prepare the soil then move them out June or 2010.

Some great strains outdoors I recommend Mazar 10oz per plant, NYC Diesel 1-6lb per plant, Orange bud 7-10oz per plant. these are some very strong strains that grow fast and will be able to survive the weather.
