What Is The Difference Between Root Bark And Inner Root Bark??

If there is a difference how can you tell? Is the inner bark the actual root after you peel the bark? I dont know. I only find one layer of bark on any roots I have skinned. The bare root is white. The root bark is brown. Any one know at all??

Is this a stumper or what. Got me stumped.

Basically, the inner root bark has more goods.

I'm not sure what exactly they do, though.

I've had batches that look really nasty and dark and those produce less (assuming it's the outter)

and I've had batches with a nice healthy color to it, and that yields a lot more. (assuming it's inner)

The problem is, I've only ever bought the INNER... so... someone is bullshitting
