A bicycle was involved! I chose a bad moment to shout.Well don't do it on a motorcycle![]()
I’d had my first motorbike, an ‘83 Yamaha 650 “Midnight Special” (which was my first look at the awesomeness that is black chrome) for less than a week when a firefly decided on visor-assisted suicide right between my eyes. The stain glowed for a coupla minutes.Well don't do it on a motorcycle![]()
Reminds me of those sautéed slimy sewer slugs. Some older kids got my friend to take a bite out of a slug. They told him it tasted like candy. What a dumbass.

It had that elytra (beetle wing casings) scratchiness.I have definitely had similar........but how do you know it was a beetle? Taste, texture, velocity?
Camel is delicious

I had one of those big blue dragonflies smack me just off center right above my sun glasses. Knocked my glasses askew and I couldn't open my left eye. I was doing about 70. I got everything whoad down and sat crying on the side of the road for about 10 minutes, not because it hurt but because of the impact.suicide right between my eyes.

So do blackbirds, caught one of those in the chest once, I was only doing about 35 though. That hurt. I hit a pheasants tail feathers with my handlebars once, that would have knocked me off the bike with a direct hit I believe. Those things have mass.
