So 6 plants under each 1000 watt light, correct? You are gonna want 150w per plant imho
How do some growers place only 1 plant under just 1 1000watt HPS, and get 2 lbs per light / per plant? How long must their veg time be? Supposedly, some growers accomplish this feat consecutively with the traditional and most common veg time of just 30 days, followed by a 60 day flowering period. Anyone here pulling this off?![]()
This I would have to see to believe, I've talked with a few one pound one plant guys on here and they all veg for at Least a 3 month period just to get the plant training doneHow do some growers place only 1 plant under just 1 1000watt HPS, and get 2 lbs per light / per plant? So would you say that it would be easily attainable, and consecutively possible, to get within the ballpark figures of (2 lbs +/-) per 1000 watt HPS; with a plant count of 4 to 6 (preferably 4) per light, with only a 30 day veg? This I would have to see to believe, I've talked with a few one pound one plant guys on here and they all veg for at Least a 3 month period just to get the plant training done
It's doable if you've got the right strain. Identical canopy is kind of key here. And I would pack probably 50 in a 4x4 or 5x5 under a 1k hps dwc or ebb n flow and 2lbs every 2.5-3 months shouldn't be too hard. With the 30 days veg under the 1000w? Mh, or hps? I assume you would be starting in final pots which will slow veg growth, tbh I just don't see 2 lbs every 3 months in one tent, for the quantity you are wanting to obtain you will have to run a two tent perpetual grow, @breakdancer0003 is the guy to talk to about how to do it, he has a nice MMMP thread going and stays on top of his work, nice thread to watch for some good tips

Hydro I've got 19 in this 3x3. Started with 24.Holy crap 50!Like in solo cups or something?

It's best to run beds when doing large numbers of plans in soil. Root systems in beds work very differently than in pots and it's beneficial to the system and yield. Eliminates the root space limit to an extent.Thats the problem with soil, the pot size of 16 plants is about 4x4.
Which hydroponic method are you utilizing? With that many plants in that space it can't be buckets, rock wool cubes in trays perhaps?Hydro I've got 19 in this 3x3. Started with 24.this was a week and a half ago.![]()

Have 2 3 gallon dwc buckets that started with 6 but are down to three plants each. And a 12 site 16 gallon aero tote that has 10 of its sites filled. Then I have three party cups in there from the party cup comp on here.Which hydroponic method are you utilizing? I did go mostly from seed this run which is cool because I'll have a lot of variety but I bet I wouldve yield better if they had been more uniform so I could control my canopy better.
