what is the smallest air conditioner in the world

fwiw even on a budget and trying to be super stealth I think there's a lot better options than a freezer like that.
like what do you have in mind, this thing has a inline fan inside it and its so well insulated i cannot hear it outside, its got a great tight seal so no leakage, and i cut some solid 4 inch inlet and outlet holes into it easy to mount stuff, its light proof sound proof smell proof. can put a padlock on it. only way someone would be able to see whats inside or have any clue would be to rip the lock off it and break in and therefore be illegal and i could charge them.

also its on the bigger side of chest freezers so i can have a mother, clone and flower section

ok didn't realize you had it already thought was just an idea. Just thought even a tall fridge would be better since u wouldn't have the same height restrictions. Then you could also possibly just run the fridge itself to keep things cool. Pretty sure someone on here did it I can't remember their username tho.

I just think trying to put an AC inside something that size doesn't make much sense to me. I would try to just run AC in the room the freezer is sitting in and intake cold air.

If you put the world's smallest AC in a microgrow two things are going to happen, the air will be too cold to grow in and it will all shoot out the inline.

Your going to need to regulate the whole room and that will keep your microgrow in range. Think of putting an inline on the front of your oven and still expecting the heat to stay in and cook a pizza - not going to work.

If you live in a hot area it's going to cost you unless you have a cool room or area already.

this is the thread I was thinking of. maybe u can get some ideas from this

You can buy a finished unit which climate controls for about 5-10 grand, to replicate that will cost you in the same region. To humidity, temp and light control a small volume of air is not cheap. To put a tent in a room and control the room or even make the room into a grow is a lot cheaper and why it is what 99.9% of growers do.

so i have already destroyed the freezers ability to work by busting the gas pipe and releasing a non harmful gas the same as gas stoves use, because i was gonna put it in a air con room but thats no longer possible, so i had a look at the qube series and one i am getting a quote on is 410mm x 460mm x 200mm

i measured it up inside the freezer and it will be a perfect fit, as for getting too cold i will have the unit on low as it can go and then i will have the fans on a timer to pump air every 5 or 10 mins for a certain amount of time, which i will have to figure out by monitoring temps and playing around with it, leaves me heaps of room barely takes any space.

so might cost me like 2 or 3 grand max like the freezer was 100 bucks, hoping the AC is like 1000 - 1500 bucks

and im going to eventually in the next 6 months read up and learn about how to make a diy led that is exactly what i want, as for height restriction i have plenty for what i want to do as i dont use much

also i will be making a fully auto watering system so i can leave it unattended for a month at a time

i just pulled so i am good for 2 years for smoke so there is no rush got plenty of time to work on this build and really deck it out its gonna be sick

I really love microgrow setups. I admire your desire to build a super stealth setup. Dont take this the wrong way but I also think you should wait and really plan every single step out before you spend any more money or destroy any more appliances in your desire to build a stealth cab.

You mention you just harvested, curious if that was outdoor or indoor grow? have you grown indoors before? You are making a lot of assumptions that are going to be expensive mistakes in my opinion.

If you dont have leds already (which IMHO is only possible way to make that height work), what lights do you have now?

Also there is no way that you can create an automated watering system for a grow that small and only check on it once a month. With a height that size you will need to be constantly training the plants in flower, and in case of moms will need to be trimmed back or clones taken as well. If you wait a month between visits, you are going to either come back to dead plants, an unmanageable bush, or create a potential fire hazard if your plants get out of control and are growing into your lights.

Ive been growing for a while now and it takes me at least 6mos to a year to dial in a new setup, lights, nutes, strain etc. If you want to get great results you have to put in the time and continually adjust your methods. This may also need to be tweaked based on time of year or other environmental factors.

If you have unique circumstances that require a non standard grow setup, find someone else's design and copy that so you can learn from their mistakes and not be starting over at zero. For example the other thread I posted with a fridge, since the height is taller it allowed him to keep the light above the grow space so the heat from the light did not affect the temps of the grow area. Also since its a fridge, he can just run it normally and has a dial to adjust the temps.

I would send that freezer to the dump, buy a used fridge for 1/2 of what that AC will cost you, and go from there.

i have 76cm of vertical height its heaps of height for what i need, this guy in this link https://overgrow.com/t/closet-chronicles-growing-with-mr-sparkle-2019/20944 has only 73cm and his plants are automatically watered, and he leaves them for long periods of time, realistically i will never be away from my plants for more then 2 weeks and that is once a year kind of deal.

another note is that i have like triple the space this guy has inside of my freezer, enough for a aircon, mother plant and clone section, early veg, and then a flower section.

he also uses DIY leds and i have talked on these forums with led diy'ers and they have say for getting lights as close as this guy with the same results i will need to diy just like he has anyways thats complex and not relevant,

people do micro grows inside of pc cases, this is 2x or more that height and i have way more space then them or this guy.

i will probably spend 3 grand all up on this system but that is fully decked out and customized and will take me over 12 months to work it all out and do it because i am in no rush

currently there are plants in the freezer and they are going great and have a inline fan in it with 100 watts of led they are all topped and trained and branchy and are like 30 cm high out of the pot but i havent got the lights i want to use or the watering system set up or anything its pretty bare boned atm but it will be sick by the time im done

I admire your ambition and if you can pull it off and get it dialed in will be awesome for sure.

DIY led is definitely the way to go. Its very fun and rewarding to build your own lights and will be at lot easier to customize something for your space.

My only last concern is you said the AC will fit perfect in there. are you making sure there is clearance around the unit for airflow? usually with portable units you need to keep them like a foot away from walls so they don't overheat. something to consider.

I am subscribed looking forward to see some photos!
