What is the standard "payment" for trimming help?

I spent the cash on a power trimmer & used it once, all 4 of us spent about 15 minutes each with the machine trying to duplicate the perfect trimmed bud look we get from our normal trim,we all came to the same conclusion that it didnt do a proper job & really lessoned the quality of the bud, lots of resin is lost from the process & unless you really mash the shit out of the bud the machine dont get alot of the leaf material.

It was suggested to me from the place i bought the machine that we do a rough trim while its wet, then dry the product & come back thru & touch up the rough looking buds.

All the buds look rough & surely not top shelf meds, our machine just collects dust now, there isnt a machine made that comes close to the precision of hands on trimming,i wish i woulda rented mine for a day instead of dropping a wad, worst investment ever.
those power trimers look like they suck. i dont see how you can get a clean trim with one

For the NorCal Market-

Average pay per hour: $15-20
Average pay per pound: $150-200
Average per gram trimmed: $0.33-$0.44 (some people pay like this)
Anything less is chump change and not worth the time or trouble.

Source: I trimmed over 200 lbs. dry in 2011. Already on pace to absolutely SHATTER that record this year. I am the crown prince of Fisk-ing.
