hi on my plant it has two little things like )( on the stem does anyone know if these things are to show the sex (female as a friend said it was) what do you guys think..???

sorry - all i see is a little blurry pic that doesn't enlarge... but the FAQs have a ton of pictures that show male and female plants along with other pictures that may show what you are seeing.

those two little spikes do not indicate sex. the growth at the nodes may (but more likely they are just new leaf nodes). you are looking for two little fuzzy hairs for female and a pollen sac (ball on a stem) for males.

have you switched to 12/12? some strains don't show sex until a week or two (or even three) after you switch. The longer you let them veg - the more likely they will show sex (i think the 8th node is the place to start looking -- but i could be mistaken)

Wait how do you know it's a girl? That picture definitely does not show sex. It just shows new growth. Did you see the two little white hairs elsewhere on the plant?

Yup I agree its just new growth points my plants always show these they have nothing to do with sex I didnt see any sex indication from either picture the blurry one or the big
