What is this??. Its spreading fast

Im vedging a Barneys farm Blue Cheese for about a few weeks now.

Two days ago its started to droop alot. But it had been watered and fed properly so thought it was strange. But yesterday these brown spots started appearing mainly on a fan leaf but even from this morning it has spread way further arounf the leaf.
Anybody know whats up.

Ill put up a pic and hopefully it will help.

Ok so here are the pics, the leaf you see that looks ripped is actually curling up a bit.

Sounds like nute burn or maybe a magnesium deficiency. Hard to say without pics.

Back off your nutes, if it doesn't help, foliar feed them a teaspoon of epsom salt to a liter of water.

flush with water real good.three times the amount of the container . put dolamite lime in the soil and ( either use earth juice micro blast or advanced nutes revive. good luck.

I dont think its pest damage anyway because i have it with another plant since seedling and the other plant is perfect. Theres nothing on the undersides of the leaves either.

Thanks for replying though.

I read those threads WolfScott. I really dont hope its root rot. It gets watered the same as the plant next to it and thats perfect. Im really lost on this one now.

You may want to consider a fungus. To that end, while you figure this out I would suggest picking up a bottle of Garden Safe Fungicide3 from Home Depot. This is a fungicide, insecticide, miticide and is suitable for use on vegetables (was recommended by an oldtime grower named BOG). In the past I've removed affected portions of leaves then sprayed the plant as directed and have had great results. While it may or may not resolve THIS issue, it certainly won't hurt your plants and is good to have around. Good luck

Thanks man ill keep it in mind.

Do you or anybody else recommend either leaving the leaf to get killed by whatever is affecting it or to pull it off now??

Ill post another pic tomorrow of the leaf because even since i took the above pics it looks worse.

im not sure about pics 2,3, or 4;
but pics 1 and 5 look like spider mites to me...
the white dots, scarring from bites....

tjhis stuff, works great. got it at lowes for cheap.

I looked at the undersides of the leaves and both sides under a microscope just incase it was mites but no sign of them.

I have a feeling its root rot or to many nutes. But if i want to flush it would that be the worse thing to do if its root rot.

Dammed if you do dammed if you dont.

It was watered yesterday and its12inchs under a 400w so it should dry out soon enough i hope. Its in an 11 litre pot 2

so you're saying the conditions for the two plants are EXACTLY the same? did they come from seed or are they cuttings from the same plant...different plants (even plants within the same strain) can react differently to all sorts of things such as waterlogging and nutrient deficiencies/overexposures. that is to say that one plant may have a greater tolerance for overwatering than the other.


but if they are sister clones, you can definitely narrow your search down to a mechanical failure like your pot not draining correctly, or a possible infestation/fungus, or possibly a contamination in the mix it's sitting in (is the potting soil from the same bag?)...

Thanks Shrubs First, ive been looking up cervantes' grow guide and thats what im thinking as well. To be on the safe side ill let it dry out another day or so.

Ive got a load of different canna products so ill hit it up wit some micro nutes.

Anybody ever use Rhizotinic or cannazym?.

i also have PK13-14.

Im not planning on using any of these together because nute soup dosent sound too appealing but if anydody has suggestions ill be happy to hear

Hi Clydefrog. Im sorry i didnt make myself clear, reading back now i realise it. The other plant that i said is doing fine and started the same time is a Burmese Kush. Ive grown it before and it is extremely hardy. But i was just looking at it and there seems to be golden lines running down some of the leaves and i mean they really do look golden.

Just kinda streaks on a few leaves. I know now that the two plants shouldnt really be compared as i dont think anything could damage my kush to that extent.

Potassium is a macro nute, this isn't a micro nute problem, it is affecting fans leaves
meaning it is a mobile nutrient deficiency... I would hit em with the Cannazyme,
Rhizo, and PK13-14 and anything else you might have, what else do you have by the way?
....Why don't you want to mix them together? Thats what
they are meant for.... Give the plants a flush, and then hit them with a mild
nutrient solution full of Primary, Secondary and Micro... Give them everything.
With a plant that size I'd probably hit em with something around 1000 - 1200
ppms

Sorry man i meant to say macro. Im a newb but not that green behind the ears, , lol. I also have canna flush and Boost (its for flowering).
You know what though, i think a good flush and a dose of macros sounds good. Ill get on it tomorrow as my lights are going off in two hours and dont want the girls sleeping in a soaking pot. Thanks man. +rep for the help

Flush out your pot with 2-3 times its own volume in D.I. (R.O.) then administer a complete fertilizer for a week.

Make sure the roots are getting air, that the soil drains, and that the soil pH is within acceptable range (or just do the flush + general nutes).

If you're seeing spots like that but no webs or mites then I'm not sure I'd worry about pests (keep checking though).

What is the temperature and humidity of your grow area? How hot does it get under your lamps?

This is the best advice I can offer.

The temp is 25c and humidity is usually about 65-70. Is this humidity too high even though there vedging. They have light 18hrs a day.

Im about to do the flush not though and gonna hit them with nutes and macros. I sprayed them last night with some biobizz alga mix. I see a slight improvement

mines started out like yours..

still didnt find a cure
