What is this pinching/crushing buds

This is my first time in flower i have 3 nice colas going. 3 secondary colas and a few growth tops with buds forming ok so my question is what are these people talking/doing when they pinch the tips of the buds and growth tips what does this do and why and when do i start how long into flower do i do this for and am pinching off or crushing with a pinched off section?
I know topping and fiming i fim during veg and lst when i need to but never during flowering

sounds like you are too late

a pic may say different...?

generally late veg or early bud

you pinch out(FIM) the end of the growing lateral/branch

to encourage 2 flowers to replace the one you knocked off

I cant watch the vid but if its about FIMIng then i know that i Fimed through out the.veg.period starting on node 5. Im talking actual bud pinchingi dropped my phone but let me try and get a pic for it

Thats what i thought to it was just weird i read it like 3 times last week its just odd because i know my plant is way to late to top or fim anymore right now im just growing buds and all my foliage and colas are done getting taller and more abundant. Maybe an inch or 2 taller but thats it idk it was something like pinching the top 3/4th of every nug and keep doing it and they'll become massive tumors im para phrasing but thats what they where saying

It's the same principal in veg or flower. Pinching the apically dominant meristem causes minor damage, redirecting growth hormones to lower shoots as it heals, allowing them to "catch up", so to speak, with the pinched top. I use both this and LST to control canopy height through veg and the flowering stretch.

He's asking about grower that pinch the very tops of each bud. You have to pinch them all I believe. And it's not too late you do it further into flowering. Right before they start to swell if I remember.
You pinch the top of the buds to tell the cola to start swelling even more and you end up with what looks like 2 or 3 "tops" on the top of the bud vs the one pointed top. Looks a bit weird but you for sure gain weight doing it. There is a quality video on it and he's pinches way farther into flowering like week 6 or so (I believe).

I think what you're describing is called bud backbuilding.

outside you can see really nice results when the deer nibble the delicate tips that they have access too. (auxins) hormones cause more growth, like a survival response to damaged meristems
