i just dont like adding one more bottle for mag whats wrong with epsom salt ?i'd agree with them: drop the N boost. the base nutes + the cal/mg should give you plenty.
how muck K is in the silica product?
yeah ill do the res change today with ur recommendations and see if it fixes anythingif i were you, i'd go to just the A and B and cal/mg at half the ppms that you are at now and see what they do.
raising your ppms like they say doesn't make sense.yeah ill do the res change today with ur recommendations and see if it fixes anything
100% agree with this. Go back to basics and start low.if i were you, i'd go to just the A and B and cal/mg at half the ppms that you are at now and see what they do.
nothing wrong with it. if you are using cal/mg you shouldn't need more Mg.i just dont like adding one more bottle for mag whats wrong with epsom salt ?
Ok so I’ll break it down man, H&G run their system at optimal levels. Light humidity temp water etc. if you’re not pumping the same wattage lights they were during testing when they created their charts etc then your plants will not take Nuets the same way or at the same level. They may need a ppm of 800 because they’re environment and most importantly their lights are at a higher quality than yours therefore the plants themselves feed stronger and more often but if you don’t have those variables dialed in exact then your plants may only up take 400 ppm and leave the other 400 to build up over and over and cause a lockout. You can’t always go off the manufacture recommends because your grow area is almost guaranteed to not be as optimal as there’s was. Hope that makes sense. As for the H&G, their website says no aerating the res but tech support says otherwise. I don’t aerate. Or follow their charts because my systems not like their system and yet my girls flourish just fine and I only run the base nuets A/B with some bush dr sledgehammer to keep the buildups down.Interestingly H&G support told me to raise a and b
They will recommend you try every one of their products. It’s their job.this is what their support suggested (recommended product is Magnesium boost)

Yeah im adding drip cleanAs for res temps 65-67! Not sure the guy you’re taking with even knows what he’s doing. Mines between 73-77 daily and never an issue. Ppm around 390-400 and hasn’t shown a any issues. Only issues I had was sediment buildup in the res and that was caused by aeration apparently. Soon as I removed the air the ph stabilized and the sediment stopped. Also H&G is listed as a DTW Nuet so if you’re recirculating you must add a drip clean or keep it clean or something comparable to it or you’ll get crazy ph spikes and can cause lockout. Just my $0.02 take it for what it’s worth to you.
Ditch multizen ,and root ex silver. As said give them a a good flush. 24 hrs. Then just base nutes and calmag at 1 EC or 500 ppm. If that doesn’t work change nutesyup no boosters
A+B aqua
Botanicare calmag 2 ml per gall
epsom salt 0.25 gr per gall
multizen
hydroguard
Root exc silver
silicate 2.5 ml per gall
nitrogen boost 1 ml per gall
The OP is running DWC. Water temps must be kept much cooler for this.As for res temps 65-67! Not sure the guy you’re taking with even knows what he’s doing. Im keeping this range cuz i have hydroguardThe OP is running DWC. Water temps must be kept much cooler for this.
I was quoting CrudeDude as he mentioned the temps being too low.Im keeping this range cuz i have hydroguard
I think recommended is 65 right ?I was quoting CrudeDude as he mentioned the temps being too low.
Not 100% on the prime temp but CrudeDude was talking in the mid to upper 70's which is absolutely too high for DWC.I think recommended is 65 right ?
