100_1010.jpgWell what you see is one of the first leafs I know they die off eventually but I wanna know is this how They suppose to look when they die?

this plant has always had me concerned first the first set of fan leaves rolled under like a rams horn then there are no problems everything seems green but the plant stays wilted always its never standing strong Now I was thinking it was being over fertilized but the soil I am using which is Scott's premium soil Has a Super low NPK like 0.07 of N I wouldnt see how that would effect it but heres a pic of the whole plant what you thinking?

View attachment 1083685You know Ive tried doing the plant problem thing but everything leads up to over fertilizing over watering under watering they all seem to have the same effect on the plant. Maybe it needs a transplant ?? And if you look good at the first fan leaf you can see how its rolled under and brown on the edges.

Using distilled water my Ph tester is a fish aquarium ph tester and its only shows from 6.0 to 7.8 and the ph of that water is 6.0 which is yellow judging from the ph chart it came with. But I mean since It grew fan leafs its always had a slight burn on the first leafs now on that one leaf is progressed a lot.

6.0 is the lowest on the chart, right? So, even if the water pH is lower than 6, it will still register as 6? You should probably get a better pH meter, you're water may be too acidic, restricting the plant from using any nutrients in the soil! Try bringing up your pH to 6.5 or so...

But is this what you think would cause that problem you see in the pics the wiltedness the dying of the first leafs like that? If it was too acidic wouldnt I see the effect on the whole plant? And what about the ram horned leafs?

Oh, didn't see that you're using distilled water, the pH with distilled water should be ok, my bad! But, it could be your soil...a lot of people will say that Scott's is the absolute worst, even more than MG! So, I would suggest transplanting into some new soil! I would suggest FFOF if it is available where you are...

Wow didn't scotts was bad I havent heard much bad from it. Hmm I dont think I could find any FFOF around here. Where exactly can I get it? And I think the problem might be over fertilizing I mean why else would my leaves roll under but there not dead they still standing after 5 days and they haven't got worse. But idk.

that plant needs a transplant for a few reasons .. its gettign to big for that cup lol you wanna transplant in my opionion ( before) they out grow there container .
at first the leaves looke like they have a case of nute burn ... but after looking at the leaves around it . I believe its the leaf makign contact with the soil .. soil can hurt the leaves with nutrients in the soil , or more commonly the soil heats up and causes damage similar to that ..if i were you Id transplant into a new neutral soil .. flood the soil let it drain out for the most part ... then pop half a q-tip under that leaf to hold it up until it recovers ..thats just my opionion tho
