What is this?

Anybody ever see this?its on one plant on one top? Otherwise this plant is healthy just curious as to what this could be? Any input is appreciated thanks happy growing

Looks like a bird eating purple berries flew over.

Lmao I thought the same, wouldent wipe off, seems like that's the growth but what would cause just this one top to do so?idk weird lol

Looks like mold to me. Maybe there was some damage there and it got infected, but the undamaged parts aren't vulnerable?

I think I'd chop that nasty looking top off and burn it just in case.

i have the same thing on one of my plant someone told me it my be phosphorus deficiency but idk

Low P is going to show up in older fan leaves first as it's a mobile nutrient and can be stolen to keep the new growth healthy. N,P,K, Mg and Zn are all mobile the rest stay once used so must be in the feed or soil for the plants to get as they grow.

pH out of whack especially when too high will cause lockouts of many of the micronutrients which will cause problems first in the newest growth. Twisting smaller leaves, yellowing and other symptoms start showing up on almost all the grow tips. So many people ask about what deficiency they might have because one or two leaves on a plant are looking bad. When there is a real deficiency then whole classes of leaves will start showing symptoms. Low N,P,K and Mg are cause problems older fan leaves. All the rest generally affect newer growth first.

Ive heard two possible reasons for this..
1. Its a boron deficency. Get micro nutes
2. Its a fungus..blight..or some kind of mold. Chop it and treat it with hydrogen peroxide mist.
