What is too much rain?

Here in Paris,France we have the strangest weather, it can be baking hot sun for a week with no rain and then have a week of poring rain non-stop.
The problem is that I have 6 seedlings growing in pots outdoors and they are having to take on this recent heavy rain fall and I don't know if they're hating it or loving it.
They have been in pots for about 9 days and the first 5 days were nice hot sun but now it's been very very rainy for the last 4 days and they're really small so i don't quite know how much damage (or good) the rain can do.

The strain I'm growing is An early outdoor dutch strain called Early Special which is supposed to be pretty resistant so...

My question is basically: is the rain a bad thing or a good thing and what should i do or should i not do?

just after that last post i decided to go check my plants (on yet another rainy day)to discover that at the tip of one of my smaller seedlings was yellow.

This can only be due to over watering from the rain!
And a bit later A strong storm broke out with rain so hard the when it hit down on the windows it sounded like it was shattering the glass.

I can't see how my plants survived this...

I guess I'll have spent over 100 Euros for nothing...

This is all depressing and it's going to be even more depressing when i go and see the destruction that has been made.

try make a tent if you can

1 of the 6 plants died and two others aren't looking good.

get some type of dome for them like suggested. if there are 2 that arent looking good you may be able to save them. marijuana even though sensitive tends to bounce back from problems fairly quickly if treated properly.

if they arent very big you could transplant them and bring them inside. put some type of lighting on them and go from there till the rain stops.

I don't have the option of bringing them inside otherwise i would have already done so but for the doom thing wouldn't it block the light from coming through?

If you have easy access to them (nearby woods..etc) Try to at least get them under the tree canopy's (if any) during rain ..In a few days, hopefully the stems & plants will be stronger...I get a lot of heavy duty rain here also and have battled the weather often...right now the wind is 40km & my plants are screaming through the windows at me....Good luck

The plants are already partially protected by the trees above them but sometimes the rain is just too strong.
As you mentioned,I'll just have to hope that there aren't any storms for the amount of time it takes the stems to toughen up.
