What is wrong with my lady?

So this has been a problem for a while, but sadly it has started moving up towards the top of the plant and I am worried. I have the pics enclosed, but first a few things about her grow.
Banana Kush, vegging since May, under CFL's (4X20w) (1x26w) (1x16w)
Botanicare PureBlend Pro Grow (just less than recommended dose)
I just tried adding Cal-Mag to solve the problem, didn't look to get any better.
The temp is between 75-80 consistently, plenty of airflow, and I even have DIY CO2 (yeast+sugar)

I can't figure out if this is a deficiency, a nute burn, or a disease. It makes me sad and I want to flower her next month so she needs to be healthy, especially with all this time invested in her.
Any help is appreciated, +rep to the good answers!DSCN2331.jpgDSCN2364.jpgDSCN2375.jpgDSCN2366.jpgDSCN2365.jpgDSCN2378.jpgDSCN2377.jpgDSCN2370.jpg

This looks like a couple of possible problems.

1. OVER WATERING
2. NUTE BURN
3. PH PROBLEM.

Do you know whay ph everything is?

Your feeds ph?
Your Soil Ph?
etc?

I would be inclined to tell you to do one thing

FLUSH with a good flushing additive use plain ph'd water for around 7 days then pick up feeding with 1/4 strength nutes and go water water feed water water feed.

Usually most problems like this are caused by one of a few different possibilities.
1. Not enough nutes
2. Too much nutes
3. Incorrect Ph's

so my advice to you is flush with an additive, then water only that is ph'd for around 7days. THen return to feeding 1/4 strength nutes.

Dead edges can otften mean Calcium, Potassium or Phosphorous which is often left unchecked as many chase with cal and mag cures.

The important point you left out was your P.H.

I do not have a digital pH monitor, but with the droplet method it looks like it is right around 7 before nutes are added. I have not tested the runoff, but I did do a flush with Clearex the other day (hence the tub picture) and I used about 8-10 gallons through the 5-gallon bucket. It is grown in mostly sunshine mix #4 with Roots Organic soil tossed in to fill

So in reality your PH is a guess and therein 'could' well lie the problem my friend.

Depending upon your nutes it 'could' be putting/keeping your ph anywhere between 7.2 and 5.8 (often nutes put ph up in veg and down in flower) when you really want it at 6.5 adjustable for the individual strain. Its a painful expense and one that often is only ever used when changing the size of your water holders but I would say essential bit of kit.

I just check the soil pH with a tesk kit (put in the whte powder, shake, read color) and it reads right about 6.5, but then again, its a guestimate. It does not seem to be way out of wack, but maybe a flush would help again? even after just doing one 3 days ago, I might wait a week to flush again. I will use less nutes in the meantime

Flushing doesn't really get to the issue tho and flushing is all too often just a pointless exercise as the purpose of a flush is to really get rid of salt build up.

you do not need co2 at those temps

how long did you add CalMag for?

I'm losing the plot.... sorry..

It isnt Magnesium which is what the CalMag is usually used for.

It isnt Calcium I am sure ''

Pics 6 and 7 definately look like Phosphorous

To be honest we have a range of chemicals here. The 'canna' a range of products and know we have potassium like that but they can also be bought as additives in fertiliser etc.

i.e for phosphorous you would add some phosphate fertiliser if you cannot see it in bottled form.

Should I use some of the flowering nutrients for higher phosphorus? the plant is really "old," she may just be saying she is ready to flower :S

How would I remedy this phosphorus deficiency?
Jamacian Bat Guano is a good source for phosphorus ,sprinkle a pinch of dolmite lime on your soil and water with 6.5ph and give a gauno tea. Triple check your water's ph to 6.5,also a ppm meter is handy so you don't burn anything if using chemical nutes . I had the same thing happen a few times. Now i have a good digital ph meter tds meter and i add more dolmite lime to my soil mixes haven't had a problem since. Its all about the soil and water. I use promix mixed with alot of shrimp compost, worm castings, bat gauno{small amount}, bone meal{small amount} ,sheep manuer{small amount} dolmitelime{soil sweetner source of calmag}, peatmoss ,perlite and vermiculite and ph like 10 times just before you water. I give mine a 1/4 strength floranova and a bit of mollasas for veg and bloom and i dont worry about burning. If your going to go this long you need what i call turbo soil this may help. Man im baked have a good night.

what he said.. sounds great,,, most of these defficiencies are due to the soil/fert combo indeed. I use Bat guano added to the soil always nowadays and swear by it for all round goodness and avoiding niggly things like this.

It is worth the effort, it will reward you when it comes to harvest.

Thanks for all the help fellas, +rep to ya. I have decided to order a pH monitor, and I am going to transplant her into a large trash can, with Sunshine mix #4, bat guano, and some of those other additives. I wanted to transplant her anyway, now this gives me an excuse to add in some more. She has been in the 5 gallon a couple of months now, time for an upgrade, and hopefully a much bigger plant.
I am going to cut all the lower branches off (clone what I can), then plant her up to where she splits for the 5 main colas.

yw bro. it isnt the size of the pots that are an issue, the bigger the pots the more expensive everything is remember.

sorry I dont know the soil, so long as its not time release nutes you should be fine, specially with the guano.

I am just worried about getting rootbound, she has to have a large system for being almost 5 months old. Sunshine #4 is not amended
