i just water/feed a couple plants. i checked the run off ph and it was about 8. ive been using about 6.5ph water to feed my soil plants. is there anything i can do to fix this? it's fox farm happy frog soil. the owner at the hydro shop said this stuff is fine to use right out of the bag. so i did.
That almost looks like insect damage. May be spot burn froom nute contact. Check the undersides of you leaves well and monitor plant. If it does not spread and new growth looks good I wouldnt worry about it.
i do have fungos gnats and spider mites, but its my high runoff im worried about. my guess is the high soil ph is locking out my plant. how do i lower my soil ph? should i just use lower ph water next feeding?

Bingo, those are mite bites. As long as the plant and new growth are happy dont get caught chasing ph. Get the mites and gnats under control. That is NOT a calcium deficiency. Or any that i can see...
The coulour looks ok,and from the photo there is not alot wrong apart from the leaf end curl, but this is not a major problem. There is no need to mist the plants loads of times,i mist my plants about 3 time's all the way through the whole grow. The only time a plant will need plent of misting is when the clones have just been took then you can over do it so i would lay of the misting and give her a little more nutes
