What is your #1 goal as a grower?

All of the above. Im going to kick the shit out of myself grow after grow. Least healthiest grower. Absolute neurotic. Feels like I’m trolling myself.

I want to get to a point of making my own crosses .

I just enjoy the process of doing it and hopefully working towards better and better outcomes. I mostly give away what I grow and we don't really consume much ourselves.

Not burning the house down

Main goal is supplying my own medicine vs 6 different scripts that turn my mind against me.

The experience of growing is an added benefit

i want consistency. i have lots of plants that grow just fine at 5.8 ppm and low nutes. i have these other plants (~20%) that are sick the entire time, they don't like nutes or light and get claws. showing cal and mag defficiencies the entire grow....they are fed ca/mag, so that isn't the issue. ran under 300ppft and 200ppm to react to claw, that was too much at week 5 even. that is dumb. they still give bud too, just look like crap and when i post them eveyone tries to tell me what i am not doing.

Take note of the finicky strains you encounter, AND take note of those strain's parent-strains. Consider not running those in your space, and gravitate more toward the strain(s) that respond well in your space.

awww, that is not what i wanted to hear. so far, it does seem strain related. when i have the problem and run the same strain (when it has a small pheno range) both have the problem...sometimes one more than the other. i had this happed on a single plant (it was purple, abnormal) out of like 12 of the same strain. since then i have had problems with dutch passion blueberry, ace tikal, thseeds melonsicls ( i have 2 packs of these to pop still). the first one was a critical kush, but that was an oddity. it did have root rot (kept alive with peroxide). the others have not. it is not breeder related at all. i have strains from the same breeders (dutch passion durban poison for example) and they are wonderful. even the thseeds bubblegum has turned around and looks normal now.

I want to make people shut the fuck up about how good their over priced dispo weed is, and hopefully give my grower friends some shit that makes them want to up their game so they can do the same to me.

For me it’s all about the process. Dialing in the space, planning out lighting, setting up hydro, tinkering, hunting phenos, keeping logs, and improving.

Growing the best weed in town and growing more of it. Eventually I want to get into breeding, but I want to max out my production capacity before then.
