What kind of light bulb should i use to grow my marijuana plant????

I planted one germinated seed in a 8inch by 5ich cup wif the root sticking up burried about 10millimeters deep, i so far had the plant about 8inches away from the lamp bulb and have kept it moist, Ive heard floresent bulbs are the best? how many watts?

well it all depends on ur budget really cfls are the cheapest, or get a hps setup if you have the money i would recommend the hps setup you will yield more and alot quicker

A CFL is a fluorescent,

HPS will produce better results, they just cost more than CFLs

If you decide to go with CFL's make sure they are 1-2 inches away from the top of your plants or they will stretch out.

hehe duno who said floresent is best :D yea cfl's do a great job vegging ..but
i would go hps all the way for flowering

Hi, I have a special light that my psychiatrist prescribed me for SAD(seasonal affect disorder). I'm really not planning to grow anything (it's too expensive and time consuming for me) but if I ever had the opportunity I was curious if my light would work. It's damn bright! 10000 lux at 1-2 feet away and "full spectrum" to mimic the sun. It keeps me awake better than coffee.
