What kind of mites are common in EWC???

I was wondering if EWC is usually thought of as a vector? I know I have some mites walking around in them and I was wondering what are the common types found in worm castings? My friends run a castings manufacture co. and I'm trying their product. From the little I've heard, most are beneficial.

Yaaa. Most fresh castings will have lots of beneficials. Probably ok. Pictures?

Put a handful or two in an oversized Tupperware container with a lid. Put it in room temp area out of direct sunlight and in two weeks open it. If there's bugs inherently in the stuff, you'll know by then. Fair warning it could be super gross.

Bagged amendments can be vectors. Its infrequent though.
My favorite grow store, cuz i get a great discount, is infested with fungus gnats. Any soil, casts, compost and some biodynamic manures come with free of charge fungus gnats.
Its unlikely its spider mites in your casts. There wouldn't be food, fresh still living green plant material. By the time worms are eating it, its gone thru a bit of composting already.The red mites are fine, if thats what you're seeing.
