What kind of og was that???

So I've been smoking twenty five plus years now so I'd say I've tried a lot of strains. It seems that a+ Seems to top off at a certain point as far as quality goes. Here's my problem, 10 years ago my buddy was getting this stuff that was easily twice a good as anything available today. In fact I haven't seen this strain since. Of course at the time I would ask what strain it was and all he would ever say is Og, but I smoke og a lot and like I said this stuff was on another level. The flavor was amazing it looked like it should have been in a magazine. Light green frosty some light purple leave The smell was outrageous even with it double bagged I could smell in in my buddy's pocket fifteen feet away the moment he would walk in the building. I smoke all kinds of og all the time and nothing compares. It sucks because nObody seems to understand what I'm talking about. Does this sound familiar to anyone? It was about ten years ago in Santa Clarita California. Kinda pricy but we'll worth the extra money.if this sounds familiar to you Please help me reunite with this strain. Thanks

We used to get some regs that we called creeper bud, you wouldnt even realize you were baked for like 10 minutes, it would slowly creep up on you. it was around for about 2 months and havent seen or heard about it since.

I can't help with identifying what you're looking for, but I got some stuff a couple years ago that was exactly as you described. It was going for 30/gram where I live (never seen that price before, or since) but it was worth it. It looked exactly as you described. I would smoke a one hitter and it would climb on intensity for a half hour as if I had smoked a whole joint of high quality bud. So there is still stuff like that around, but I can't identify or help you locate it. I wish I could still get it. I only got it twice.

No this was no creeper. The high was instant. Sounds like tommy duh cat has seen what I'm talking about. I just need someone with some inside information on what strain it is. I get that if the name of this stuff got out it would be more abundant thus driving down the price but dam the best club bud is schwag compared to this stuff. Someone here has to know the name...

Interested to know if you ever do find it. Hands down the best I've ever had. Like you said, not a creeper. The stuff I had hit hard right away, but the thing that got me is that even though it hit hard right away, it kept climbing and climbing as if you were still continuing to smoke.

I'd like to believe it was the same stuff, though it more than likely wasn't. And yeah, everything else is ditch weed compared to this.

Your "buddy" probably kept saying the name because he didn't want you to know. Honestly that's all part of the game. Maybe it was a strain that was just covered as OG but best left to be kept under scrutiny.

On the flip side here you got lucky. You smoked it and liked the hell out of it for sure. But maybe it's best that you didn't know. Not that anything was wrong with it and maybe nothing was particularly special about it except it appealed to you.
I know I've got the strain that I found a gem to smoke back in my college days. Hailed to be one of the best strains I've ever smoked and it's at the top of my list because I can remember everything about it including the high. At least I knew the right genetic name to the strain since it was delivered straight to me from a friend who was friends with the grower. Definitely a plus, but if this guy didn't want you around his area or didn't give you much more information other than OG, heh it's the dealer who just doesn't want to inform you and that's just business.
