I want to plant my seeds someone told me to use miracle grow potting mix with moisture control but now others on here are saying its not the best thing to use. I'm not trying to spend alot of money on a whole bunch of nutrients and chemicals so what would be best for me..just buy miracle grow? or something else?

okay first off, how much are you trying to grow? second you don't need to spend hella money to produce some super chronic. miracle grow is "okay", but not great. i use it but i am not a vet. i am only on my second grow, but i know little sumthin. anyway, some schultz potting soil is cheap and i think its "organic". i have some little ones in some whitney farms potting soil thats 100% natural. its about $4.65 for an 8.8 quart bag. its got bat guano, worm castings, bone meal, blood meal etc. look at a local hydro shop, a nursery , or at osh. they should have a local brand of organic soil for pretty cheap.also be sure to get some perlite and vermiculite to mix in with your soil :peace:

For a noob on a budget, use Scotts Premium Potting Soil. Its sold at Home Depot. Maybe even Lowes and Walmart but the Depot for sure. Its in a green bag. I use it when Im growing bagseed and never had any problems. It already has nutes in it. Heres a bagseed plant thats been in the scotts premium from the start.

And heres a baby bud shot, flowering 2 weeks in the Scotts

Ive experimented with lots of cheap soils from the local home improvement stores, the Scotts Premium Potting Soil is my favorite by far. It says continuous feeding for up to 4 months on the bag. The nutes are time release but they dont burn my plants like other time release nute soils. However, my favorite overall soil is Ocean Forrest, which I use for my good seeds, I even use it for seedlings. A bit more expensive, especially for me since I have it shipped but its worth it to me.

I had good luck w/ regular miracle grow dirt, was using real shitty seeds that I hadn't taken care of at all and had 2 out of six sprout and grow healthy a month with just regular water- that is pretty cheap to- I'd imagine you would eventually have to start feeding them though...
