what kinds of flourescents for seedlings?

what kinds, and how many of those kinds of flourescents should i get for optimal growth of seedlings before i put them under my HID? is there some kind of fixture that makes it more efficient?

6500°K bulbs the brightest ones you can get

tubes are cheaper if you are only using for clones. i use 2 2tube 4' for my clones. get the plant bulbs for them

go with the u shaped Cfls.... its wise to go with 6500K but some say even in veg a full spectrum can be beneficial. my babies have a cool:warm ratio of 3:1

he has an hid for veg/flower he needs something for clones only( if I read his post correctly, but I have been hittin the bong pretty hard tonight!!) bongsmilie

i would only be using it for seedlings until veg.. but would this be optimum? and should i use this for veg instead of a 1000w agrolite?

Lol he didn't even mention clones he said he needs a light for seedlings to get optimal growth

you are HIGHly correct haha but would this possibly be better for veg? or beginning of veg or something? or should i stick with HID for veg/flowering?

I like to start my seedling under tubes, the HID is a little strong to start them out

Yes much much better they put out 5,000 lumens per tube, you cannot find any other tubes that put out that much light
t-5 HO is the best tube lighting
