What light cycle to choose in veg stage? Help !

I'v read a lot of things when it comes to choose the light cycle but I cant decide which one I should choose
There's at least 3 options and I want you to help me to choose one and why I should choose that one
So there is the 24-0 cycle (that can stress the plants from what i'v read)
The 18-6 , 20-4 cycle
Or the gas lantern routine that consists in putting the plant to grow veg at 12 hours light 5.5 hours of darkness and 1 hour of light and then again 5.5hours of darkness.

I run 18-6. It's a good mix of downtime for the plant, and saves money on power. The gas lantern routine intrigues me. I may be giving this a shot on my next grow.
