What makes a bud smell good? never been able to do it

I kind of do this. I hang dry branches or whole plants till dry tot he touch, then into plastic tubs with a paper towel lining the bottom. I keep the lid half on, just laying on top for a day or 2. Then i close the lid shut and burp it forever. Im starting to get more smell and color change this way faster.The paper towel kind of acts like a fuse also, gives you time to burp it before mold sets in. Also stops it from drying out 2 fast since its holding moisture itself

well, sulfer is what makes my farts smell...
