What makes for a expert grow?

I was looking for some seeds to buy, and cant figure out what makes some seeds easy to grow and some hard?
If there is easy and hard, what strains do you think are easy to grow? I will be growing indoors with mh/hps in about 6-8sq.ft. (approx. 5ft. height)
I've read at stores that white widow is rated as easy, but I've read on here that its not good for beginners. Can someone help me out here. Its not my first grow but I'm still new. Thanks,

I would/did start with bag seed. get your feet wet then spend money on seeds if you want.

Its not my first grow, I've had 2 harvests with bag seeds and cfls, but have since moved and have a new space(actually about 12sq.ft.). Also now will be getting 400watt mh and hps for my next grow. I want to get some true strains this time instead of mystery bud. I really just wondered what makes one seed harder to grow than others. Is it just the differences in indicas and sativas.

It is evolution by natural selection man, i.e. some plant adapt the environment better than others. Doesn't matter how great they smoke some will die easy and some will survive (although the great smoke ones people will take care of it better to get the benefits). AK48 from Nirvana is easy to grow and shit easy to clone, the latest clone I made taken only 5 days to see roots. The only draw back it that it does smell a LOT, must be the most smelly strain I have grown yet. Pure Power Plant is easy to grow too, it is not too picky.
